Drawer Magnets and Housing Quick Clean (DM-200-QC Series)

Application:

MPI's "Quick Clean" Drawer and Housing Magnetic Separators utilize a "Type A" magnetic circuit to remove small- to medium-sized ferrous contaminant from dry

powder or granular free-flowing product streams in gravity-fed vertical chutes. These 200-Series Quick-Cleaning Drawer Magnets (DM-200-QC) use two tiers of

magnetic tubes for maximum magnetic filtration to protect processing equipment, such as milling, extruding, and mixing machinery, while ensuring high product quality

standards with low maintenance.

Operation:

The product stream flows through two (2) rows of 1-1/8" diameter magnetic tubes, designed to create an extremely effective magnetic circuit. The rows of magnetic

tubes are staggered to maximize magnetic filtration as product flows through the housing. Tramp metal contaminants move to the underside of the magnetic tubes,

eliminating tramp metal "wash-off." After terminating the product flow, loosen the quick-release latches and pull the magnetic drawer out. The cleaning sleeve assembly

travels with the drawer to a point on the housing where it stops and safely removes tramp metal from the magnets to a disposal area outside the product stream.

• Nonstandard alloy stainless steel construction

• Economical Ceramic 8 magnetic material for less severe tramp iron applications

• Inlet and outlet transition adapters, sized to customer specifications

• Abrasive resistant and low friction material for magnetic tubes

• Non-standard stripper seals for applications unsuitable for UHMW
